Inspired by the first visit to the lake in northern Minnesota and fresh florals lingering in the late spring air, I created a concoction to please the family's palates while they soak up the sun all day together on the boat.
Lake Water cocktail
- 1.5 ounce of gin (preferably botanical)
- .75 oz Crème de Violette
- 2 dashes of peach bitters
- 6 oz of fresh squeezed lemonade
- Stir, serve over ice and garnish with fresh lavender and tell everyone you’re drinking Lake Water
